1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file placed on your device (computer, phone, tablet) when you visit a website. It remembers information about your visit.
2. Cookies placed by this website
| Cookie / storage | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
mtcloud-theme | Remembers your theme choice (light or dark). Stored in your browser's local storage (localStorage), not strictly a cookie. | Technical (essential) | Until you clear it |
cf_clearance and Cloudflare technical cookies | Placed by Cloudflare (CDN and abuse protection) to secure delivery of the website. | Technical (essential) | Variable (managed by Cloudflare) |
_fbp and _fbc | Placed by the Facebook Pixel to measure advertising campaign effectiveness and track conversions (page views, form submission, etc.). Conditional on consent. | Analytics / Marketing | 798 days (_fbp) / 2 years (_fbc) |
No advertising cookies are placed without your prior consent. The Facebook Pixel (analytics and conversion tracking) is only loaded after you have accepted cookies. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the « Manage cookies » link at the bottom of the page.
3. Consent and Facebook Pixel
The Facebook Pixel is an analytics and advertising tracker provided by Meta. It measures the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and tracks conversions (e.g. contact form submission).
This service is only activated after your prior
consent. On your first visit, a consent banner appears at the bottom of the screen.
By clicking « Accept all », you consent to the placement of _fbp
and _fbc cookies required for the Pixel to function.
If you choose to refuse or not give consent, no advertising or Facebook tracking cookies will be placed. You can change your choice at any time via the Manage cookies link in the footer.
4. Audience measurement (cookie-free)
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand website traffic (page views, visitor countries). This tool is privacy-friendly: it places no cookies, uses no browser fingerprinting and does not track visitors across websites. Data is aggregated and cannot identify you.
5. Third-party cookies and services
Some resources are loaded from third-party domains:
- Google Fonts (typefaces): may place cookies or transmit your IP address to Google;
- Cloudflare Turnstile (form anti-spam): may use local storage to verify you are human;
- OpenStreetMap (service-area map): may transmit your IP address to the map tile server.
- Facebook Pixel (analytics and advertising):
places
_fbpand_fbccookies only after your consent. See section 3 above.
These third parties are responsible for their own processing. You can consult their respective privacy policies.
6. Managing your cookies
You can at any time:
- Accept or reject cookies via the banner that appears at the bottom of the screen on your first visit;
- Change your choice at any time via the « Manage cookies » link in the footer;
- Delete the remembered theme by clearing this website's data in your browser settings;
- Block or allow cookies per website in your browser settings;
- Use private browsing mode.
Blocking technical cookies may degrade how the website works (e.g. your chosen theme won't be remembered, the form's anti-spam protection may appear more often).
